Aquino Italy - The birthplace of Saint Thomas Aquinas

We traveled Aquino Italy and Paris France to trace the life of this most brilliant Saint.

The First stop was Aquino, a very small town near Montecassino. Aquino is on one of the Roman Empire roads. It was a stopping place. The road is still visible in Aquino.

There we went inside the place of his birth.

The home is now a museum which gives an account of his accomplishments and chronology of events in his life.

Saint Thomas Aquinas known as the Angelic Doctor is most known for his writing the Summa Theologica and the "Tantum Ergo and Panis Angelicus."

Throughout Europe a pilgrim will see pictures of Saint Thomas Aquinas in the Shirines.

For example, there is a large mural in the Cathedral of Orvieto
